The Urban Water Management Planning Act of 1983 requires every urban water supplier that serves more than 3,000 urban connections to assess the reliability of its water sources. A new plan is developed every 5 years and includes the required information regarding water use within the City, including a profile of the City’s water facilities; water supply and demand; and water conservation activities implemented and planned for the future.
